The third installment in the RVNG Intl. Reflections series marks the first proper collaboration between two artists who have long circled each other's work with mutual admiration. Recorded across three mythologized locations—a villa on Hydra, the Villa Medici in Rome, and the Normandy coast—the album braids spoken word, synthesizer, piano, Rhodes electric piano, and field recordings into something that resists easy categorization. Sometimes the most important music emerges from constraints.
